A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Julie M. Layton, 79, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Layton was born July 12, 1941, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 16, 2020. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and going to the casinos.
She is preceded in death by her parents, W.J. and Mazie Dufour Moreau; brothers, Cookie Moreau, Richard Moreau, Donnie Moreau, and Marvin Moreau; daughter, Carole Layton Gwin; and granddaughter, Haley Oliveaux.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, W.H. Layton; two daughters, Allison Statham (Mark) and Debra Stubleski (Kraig); nine grandchildren, Ryan, Troy, Michelle (Vic), Rachael (Sean), Payton, Ellen, Kendyl, Skylar, and Shialoh; twelve great-grandchildren, Amabel, Griffin, Brooklyn, Isabell, Rylan, Briceson, Braxli, Ethan, Jackson, Kinsley, Gabriel and Luke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
