Judith D. Breard

Judy Breard passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and her sons on March 28, 2025. She was born on June 4, 1952, in Monroe, LA.

Judy attended Neville High School where she met her husband of 53 years, Danny. She was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Monroe, where she co-chaired The Cotton Country Cookbook Committee. Judy worked for the Ouachita Parish Clerk of Court and retired after 32 years of service in 2008. She enjoyed spending time at the beach with family and friends and watching her grandchildren play sports. Judy was a loving and selfless wife, mother, and grandmother. Her main priority was to ensure Big D, her boys, her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and loved ones were taken care of. She was always thinking of others.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Billie Downey, Sr. and Peggy Downey and her brother, Billie Downey Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Breard Sr., two sons, Danny Breard Jr. and wife, Miranda and Chris Breard and wife, Meg; grandchildren, Mary Kathryn, Daniel, Caroline, and Cate; sisters, Sally Cagle and husband, Tod and Jenny Hood and husband, J.R.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
