Juanita Greer

Funeral Services for Juanita Greer, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:30AM Friday, February 3, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Rick Crandall officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe.

Juanita was born on May 17, 1937 in Holly Ridge, LA and passed away on January 31, 2017 in Monroe, LA. She attended First Baptist Church in West Monroe. She was an entrepreneur all of her life, she started an answering service over 40 years ago, then moved to restaurant, hotel and property management up until a month before her passing. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Greer; parents, James and Bessie Kenly; and six siblings.

Survivors include her children, Rusty Greer, Chris Greer and wife Mary, Denise Harris and husband David and Tracy Greer; grandchildren, Stephanie Diaz, Renee Spillers, Michael Greer, Heather Barnes, Lee Greer, Robert Greer, Justin Greer, Dusty Harris, Amber Harris Kelly and Andrew Harris; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Flora Elizabeth Vaughn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Harris, Robert Greer, Andrew Harris, Justin Greer, Robby Kelly, and Larry Barnes.

Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 7:00PM Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Special thanks to the 3rd floor nurses and doctors at St. Francis Medical Center for taking special care of Mrs. Greer and to Dr. Gammage and the staff at Oncology Associates.
