Funeral Service for Mrs. Joy Ann Smith, 77, of Eros, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Chatham, LA, with Bro. Neil Wigley officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Chatham, LA.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mrs. Smith was born October 10, 1943, in Watsonville, CA, and passed away June 22, 2021, at her home in Eros, LA. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was such an amazing fighter with such strength and courage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Roberta Williamson; parents-in-law, Archie and Clara Smith; baby granddaughter, Jessica Waring; brother, Charles R. Williamson, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Larry Allen Smith; daughter, Belinda Smith (Ben); son, Joseph A. Smith, Sr. (Donna); sister, Nancy Conners; grandchildren, Katie Adams, Joseph Smith, Alex Smith, Becca Shadowens and Jared Waring; and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alex Smith, Joseph Smith, Jr., Mark Smith, James Smith, Jim Adams, and Levi Ellard.
