Josephine LaSuzzo Miller

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Josephine LaSuzzo Miller, 94, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA with Rev. James Dominic officiating.  Interment will follow in the St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Miller was born in Monroe, LA on May 3, 1928, and passed away on January 21, 2023.  She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and also a member of the Catholic Daughters for 30+ years.  Mrs. Miller was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.  She loved cooking and spending time with her family every day.  Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Miller, Sr.; parents, Joe and Martha LaSuzzo, Sr.; sister, Marian Slavant and her brother, Joe LaSuzzo, Jr.

Survivors include her 6 children, Charles Miller Jr. and wife, Deneice, Trish Ryder, Cliff Miller, Dr. Ken Miller and wife, Karen, Keith Miller and Sonya Miller; 11 grandchildren, Brandi Miller, Colin Miller, Ryan Miller and wife, Dawn, Kyle Miller and wife, Erica, Brianne Kittrell and husband, Justin, Brock Ryder, wife Bek, Donald Ryder Jr. and wife, Stacey, Janna Miller, Camille Miller, Grayden Miller and Zachary Gladfelter; 13 great grandchildren; and sister, Martha LaSuzzo Snyder.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Miller, Kyle Miller, Zachary Gladfelter, Donald Ryder, Jr., Brock Ryder, and Colin Miller. The honorary pallbearer will be Grayden Miller.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Passages Hospice and especially Andrea, Meko, Tamara, Amaris, her sitter, Brenda, and for the help of Brandy Ryder.
