Joseph "Joe" Clinton Avant

Funeral Services for Mr. Joseph “Joe” Clinton Avant, 76, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 12, 2022, at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Marty Black and Rev. James Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in New Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. Avant was born May 10, 1946 and passed away August 9, 2022.

Survivors include his wife, Wandra Sue Jordan Avant; son, David Avant and wife Deidre; daughter, Danelle Avant; grandchildren, Rusti Murphy and husband Zach, Kari Beth Avant, and Margaret “Maggie” Avant; great grandchild, Ransom Murphy; and brother, Charles “Bill” Avant.

Pallbearers will be Bill Avant, Paul New, Glenn Springfield, Zach Murphy, John “Pistol” Carter, and Michael Bryant.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Littleton, Dylan Saterfiel, Hunter James, and Dan Gilliland.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Friday at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
