His nieces and nephews, “Generation Two” miss him already: Stacy, Troy, Lynda, Joel, Lindsey, and Jessie and their children, “Generation Three” Blake, Parker, Ewan, Vivian, Emma, Chase, and Noor.
Services will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church 3706 Bon Aire Drive in Monroe on Saturday, November 9, 2019, with visitation at 10:00am, a Funeral and Celebration of Life at 11:00am, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
Geri’s pure love was felt by everyone who knew him. The family would like to especially thank the staff and residents of Shannon House, where he had lived for many years, for their devotion to him especially as they cared for him during his stay at St. Frances Hospital. They also thank his primary physician Dr. Gulick, and the entire staff on the 6th Floor of St. Frances for their care during his stay.
The light of goodness and love in the world is diminished without Geri here to pass it to us daily. He will be forever missed by both family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the scholarship fund in his honor for Camp Able at Camp Hardtner, https://www.camphardtner.org/donate/, specifying the Geri Patterson Camp Able Scholarship Fund in the Comments section.
