Joni Lyn Sivils Gilmore

Funeral Services for Mrs. Joni Lyn Sivils Gilmore, 54, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 17, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. John Mangum officiating. Interment will follow at Bartholomew Methodist Church Cemetery in Bastrop, LA.

Joni was born October 27, 1961 and passed away October 14, 2016. She was a graduate from Prairie View Academy in Bastrop, LA and also attended LA Tech for 2 years. She worked for Ivan Smith Furniture and First Family Finance. Joni adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She was a member of Evergreen Park Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the piano. Joni was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Irven and Goldie White Sivils; maternal grandparents, Louis and Sadie Adcock Scoggins; and brother, David Dewayne Sivils.

Survivors include her husband, Brad Gilmore; children, Chris Lewis, Jacob Gilmore and Justin Gilmore; grandchildren, Wesson, Brylon, Carter and Jaycelynn; parents, Frederick and Nancy Scoggins Sivils; brother, Michael Sivils and wife Maggie; sister, Susan Sivils Kinney and husband Gary, Jr.; father-in-law, J.T. Gilmore and wife, Mae; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Davies and husband Ron; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Gary Headley, Kyle Kane, Steve Thomas, Trey Peninger, Adam Kinney, Jeremy Sivils, Danny Barrett and Mark Doss.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
