Jonathan Andrew Thomas

A memorial service celebrating the life of Jonathan Andrew Thomas, 40, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 11, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhardt. The visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.

Jonathan was born on June 26, 1984, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on April 6, 2025, in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Mr. Thomas was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and nurse who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a man of God and attended Christ Church of West Monroe. He had many passions and enjoyed all things outdoors including hunting, fishing, golfing, and especially watching his boys play any sport they were involved in.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Sylvia Brown, George and Jo Edith Thomas, Carly’s grandparents, Everett and Stella Alexander, and James Zappa.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carly Jo Thomas; children, Carmen Lucky, Ethan Thomas, and Bryce Thomas; parents, George and Abbie Thomas; siblings, Josh and Kelley Thomas family, Joseph Thomas’ family, Kaitlin Thomas and fiancé, Corey Williamson’s family; Carly’s family, Donna Alexander (mom); Eddie Alexander and wife, Roseann (dad and stepmother), sister, Janie Futch; brother, Joe Alexander and wife, Keelyn’s family; and maternal grandmother, Edna Fern Zappa; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends, and loved ones.

Memorials may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home or to Ethan and Bryce’s Baseball Teams.
