Graveside services for Johnny Mac Cowart, 78, of Opelousas, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
Mr. Cowart was born August 11, 1940, in West Monroe, LA, and passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019, at his residence. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and worked in computer repair.
Mr. Cowart was preceded in death by his parents, Mac Mickens and Evie Mae Luman Cowart.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Scarf Cowart; brother, George Cowart; nephew, Wayne Cowart; and niece, Cindy Lettie.
