Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Smith, 73, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Lapine Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Eugene Benson officiating. Interment will follow in Lapine Assembly of God Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, February 18, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Smith was born February 21, 1948, in Wisner, LA and passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at LSU Oschner Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Smith had a loving heart and was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed yard sales and fishing.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her mother, Rhoda Smith; father, Levi Smith; son, Calvin Coleman; sister, Gwendolyn Smith;

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn McKenzly (Henry); four sons, Anthony Smith, Frank Coleman, Levi Coleman, Brendon; three sisters, Patricia, Jorenda Harris, Tonny Harris; and brother, John Smith.

Pallbearers will be Frank Coleman, Levi Coleman, Anthony Smith, Henry McKenzly, Jr., Shaquille Coleman, and Carden Miles.
