Johnnie George

Funeral Services for Mrs. Johnnie George, 78, of Ruston, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Walnut Grove Southern Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. David Womack and Rev. Randy Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Johnnie George was born November 3, 1941 and passed away February 2, 2019. She was a member of Walnut Grove Southern Methodist Church and was a School Bus Driver for Ouachita Parish School Board for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald George; daughter, Deborah Hair; sister, Betty Hendry; and brothers, Eddie Warren and Joe Warren.

Survivors include her son, Ricky George and wife Linda; five grandchildren, R.J. George (Alexandria Moore), Lori Hair, Cody Hair (LeAnna), Nikki Hobbs and Shannon Hobbs (Samantha); ten great grandchildren, Avery George, Hunter Hair, Skyler Shipley, Ariana Shipley, Wesley Hair, Alyssa Hair, Myka Robinson, Jayci Moses, Brantley Hobbs and Aiden Hobbs; sisters, Mona Faye Kayer, Marie Hymer and Carol Tolbird; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Roy Hatfield, Donald Hatfield, Lester Hatfield, Josh Moore, Gary Thomas and Shannon Hobbs.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Walnut Grove Southern Methodist Church.
