John W. Ponder, 82, of Simpsonville, SC formerly of West Monroe, LA, a retired Air Force Staff Sergeant, died June 20, 2011. Graveside Services are 3:00 PM Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, with David York officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to any Hospice in Ouachita Parish.
