Funeral services for John Fox, 78, of Marion, LA, will be held at 2PM Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Dennis Hackler officiating. Interment will follow at Lock Arbor Cemetery. Visitation will be 12PM-2PM Tuesday February 1, 2022. Mr. Fox was born, July 30, 1943, in Many LA, and passed away January 28, 2022, at St Francis Medical Center, Monroe, LA.

Mr. Fox was an avid LSU football and baseball fan. He was proud to be called Pops and loved taking the kids on vacation. He loved to take care of others and took great joy in giving the kids snack bags for the road. He loved his early morning gossip sessions at Moore’s Gym every day.

Mr. Fox was preceded in death by parents Charlie Fox and Earsul Legget Fox, sister, Pat Fox, brother, James Fox.

Survivors include his wife, Leatha Fox; children Suzanne Knippers (Ronnie), Jessica Crotwell (Thomas), Debbie Jenkins, and Crystal Dubose (Chris); Grandchildren, Bethany Malone, Jamie Hay, Will Grigson, Nicholas Jenkins, Emily Jenkins, Ty Knippers, Matt Grigson, Ella Grigson, Kailey Fox, Abigail Wade, and Piper Crotwell; great grandchildren, Beau and Tatum Malone, Savannah, and Emory Hay; sister-in-law Bobbye Fox

Pallbearers will be Brian Coleman, Will Grigson, Matt Grigson, Ty Knippers, Trevor Hay, Matt Malone, Nicholas Jenkins, and Chris Dubose. Honorary pallbearers will be, William Fox, Douglas Stroud, Gary Salters, and Sonny Smith.
