Funeral services for John Franklin Greeson, Jr, 62, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday May 27, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Ricky Willis officiating. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Garden Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.


Mr. Greeson died May 23, 2008 at the Overton Brooks Veteran Hospital in Shreveport, LA. He was a graduated of Mississippi State University. Mr. Greeson owned Greeson Tax and Accounting Services and had worked for Norman and Associates in West Monroe for the past 20 years. He was a Shriner, and a member of the Sahara Shrine Center. Mr. Greeson was the Secretary/Treasurer of the South Central Motor Corp. Mr. Greeson was a devoted husband and loved all of his children. He was a fantastic person. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Myrtle Greeson and brother Lee Greeson.


Survivors include his wife Michelle Greeson; daughters, Jennifer Greeson, Beth Blevins and husband Darren; step daughters, Debra Johnson, and Janette Maimone; grandchildren, Joseph Gregory, Brittney Martello, Aaron Blevins, Seth Blevins, Chelsey Blevins, Janelle Maimone, Rebecca Johnson and Jessica Johnson; sister, Rebecca Brantley.


Pallbearers will be the Shriner’s.


Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday May 26, 2008 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. Masonic service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the Funeral Home.
