Spence, age 75, of Crowville, Louisiana will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with Rev. Buddy Willis and Rev. Marion Spence officiating. Burial will follow in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Spence was a retired welder and passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at his residence. Survivors include: Wife of 50 years: Patsy Spence of Crowville, LA Daughter: Cheryl Downs and husband Kenneth of Coushatta, LA. Son: James D. Spence and wife Lori of Crowville, LA. Grandchildren: Levi Eldridge and wife Kelly, Amber Eldridge, and John Benjamin Spence. Great Grandchildren: Alex, Avery, Emily, and John Dillion. 7 Sisters: Cammie, Carrie Ruth, Sandra, Betty, Pauline, Ann, and Roxie. 7 Brothers: E.L., C.L., Truiett, Garland, Sidney, Billy and Marion. Pallbearers are: Levi Eldridge, Mark Spence, Glen Spence, Eric Gossett, Tony Blanco, Charles Blanco, Phillip Mulkey, and Allen Mulkey. Honorary Pallbearers are: John Benjamin Spence, Alexander Scott Eldridge, John Dylan Bonnette, Dr. Roger Smith and Steve Pylant.
