Memorial service for Mr. John C. Ensminger III, 27, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe.
John was born on October 19, 1993, in Monroe, LA and passed away on December 11, 2020, in Monroe.
John was a graduate of Neville High School and attended LSU-Shreveport as well as Louisiana Delta Community College. He was a former U. S. Marine and loved his time spent in helicopters. In his free time, he loved being with his dogs and enjoyed the outdoors whether it was exploring new places, exercising, hunting, or fishing. He loved experimenting with cooking, always coming up with new ideas in the kitchen. John had the best sense of humor and loved being around others that made him laugh. He had the kindest heart and would drop everything to help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Doug Fitzsimmons.
Survivors include his parents, Pat and John C. Ensminger, Jr.; sisters, Emily Ensminger Casteel and husband Mac, Mae Ensminger Loomis and husband Edward, and Tracy Ensminger and boyfriend Gary Blaylock; grandparents, Gladybelle and John Ensminger, Sr.; nieces, Elsie Mae and Mary Amelia Casteel; nephews, John Leonard and Edward Loomis; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that were very special to him.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to JGS Catholic Church, Pilots for Patients, or ULM-Catholic Campus Ministry.
