Funeral Services for John Alvin Brewster, 96, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Hasley Memorial Pavilion in West Monroe. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. Brewster was born on August 11, 1917 in Choudrant, LA and passed away on September 15, 2013 in West Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Army as a 1st Sgt. In WWII.

Mr. Brewster is survived by his granddaughters, Wendy Lynn Brewster and Jacqueline Brewster; grandson, Brian Paul Brewster and wife Lorinda; and great-grandson, Aaron Michael Taylor.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
