John Allen Cobb

Graveside Services for Mr. John Allen Cobb, 68, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 18, 2021, at Hasley Cemetery Pavilion in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. on Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. John Allen Cobb was born June 1, 1952 and passed away at his home on January 14, 2021. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a retired pipefitter, and a member of Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe. Mr. Cobb loved writing poetry, studying astrology, and was fascinated with Ancient Aliens.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Allen Cobb; mother, Martine Ramsey; stepfather, Buddy Ramsey; and brother, Charles Wayne Cobb and wife Joyce.

Survivors include his daughter, Regina Cobb; son, Marvin A. Cobb; grandchildren, Dan Franklin and Cindy Byrd; great grandchildren, Ayden Peppers and Ella Kate Franklin; and sister, Elaine Stansell and husband John; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Stansell, Barry Justus, Dan Franklin, Jared White, Brandon Justus, and David White.

Mr. Cobb’s attitude was admired by all and he was loved by many, especially his dear friend, Robin Russell, who visited and laughed with him often. He will be missed.
