Jimmy David Self

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. Jimmy David Self, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. John Palmer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Unity Church Cemetery in Darnell, LA.

Mr. Self was born on September 1, 1943, and passed away on July 7, 2023. He loved being outside either tending to his yard or woodworking, building bird houses.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Self; brother, Wayne Self; 2 step-sons; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 25 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and 3 God grandsons.

Pallbearers will be Ted Justice, Don Mims, Matt Griffin, Cole Acree, Brandon Voss, and Jared Delancy.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
