Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Jimmie L. Guillotte, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Pleasant Hill Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Michael Sims and Rev. Joe Bruce officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Guillotte was born on January 26, 1936 in Rochelle, LA and passed away on March 19, 2017 in Monroe, LA. Mr. Guillotte served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a crop duster for Adams Flying Service and Morris &Thompson Flying Service, and also worked for McMahon Flying Services in pipeline patrol. Mr. Guillotte also worked as Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service. He is preceded in death by his father, Jake Guillotte; mother, Aline Guillotte and his sister, Dolly Hartnett.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Guillotte; son, Walter Guillotte and his wife, Robin; daughter, Karen Diffey and her husband, Layne; son, Donald Guillotte and his wife, Wendy; daughter, Michelle Curtis; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jay Youngblood and his wife, Janis; sister-in-law, Jana Clack; brothers, Winston Guillotte and Bobby Guillotte.
Pallbearers will be Jay Youngblood, Josh Guillotte, Layne Diffey, Ben Van Buren, Jerry Whitlock, and Chad Valentine. Honorary Pallbearer will be Layne Diffey, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Church on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
