Funeral Services for Mr. Jimmie Earl Pippins, 75, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Billy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Pippins was born in Winnsboro, LA on July 17, 1935 and passed away at his residence in West Monroe, LA on April 22, 2011. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, bluegrass music and television. Mr. Pippins is preceded in death by his parents, William Wesley and Hattie Mae Johnston Pippins; by 7 brothers and 6 sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Alene Davis Pippins; children, Terri Pippins Jones and husband, Billy, and Cathy Renee Pippins; grandchildren, Johnathon Robert and wife, Shannon, Christopher Robert, Dillon Jones, Melissa Pippins and Wesley Pippins; great grandson, Ethan Robert; sisters, Hazel Ward, Lillian Cox and Joy Ann Sykes.
Pallbearers will be Johnathon Robert, Christopher Robert, Dillon Jones
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA
