Funeral services for Jim “Domino” Trichel, 81, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2017 in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA with Rev. Aaron Dickinson officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Trichel was born January 1, 1936 and passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School and Northeast LA University with a B.S. in Agriculture. He worked 36 years for Louisiana State Elections. Mr. Trichel was a member of Swartz First Baptist Church. He and his wife Betty would have celebrated 61 years of marriage in February.
Mr. Trichel was preceded in death by his parents, Vance Trichel and Ida Mae Trichel.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Kennedy Trichel; sons, Toby Trichel and wife Susan, Tony Trichel and wife Shannon; grandchildren, Cole Trichel, Kade Trichel, Tyler Trichel, Karson Trichel; step-grandchild, Cassidy Thornton; and siblings, Ora Duncan and husband Hillary, Bobbie Cook and husband Ray, Doris Trichel, Britt Trichel and wife Sharon, Terry Trichel and wife Sundra.
Pallbearers will be Cleon Rawls, Ronnie Coleman, Ronnie Parker, Keith Spence, Bob Hitt, and Conrad Ludlow. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim’s Sunday School Class the “Senior Adult Men’s Class III.”
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, at the funeral home.
