Jerry Wayne Tarrance

Services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Tarrance, 54 of Coushatta, LA, will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Abundant Life Worship Center, 1813 Ashland Rd., Coushatta, LA., with Bro. Steven McAbee, Bro. William Hall, and Bro. Shawn Beard officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Church Cemetery in Fairview Alpha, LA., under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.

Mr. Tarrance was an avid fisherman, hunter, and mechanic. He enjoyed carpentry, loved the outdoors, and spending time with his family, and his grandchildren, which were the love of his life. He love to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved his children, his special babies. He loved to watch football and dirt track car racing. He was also a big Oklahoma Sooner fan, and did not like L.S.U. or the New Orleans Saints. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Doc Canterbury and Camille Canterbury, his maternal grandparents, Willie Lindsey and Elizabeth “Red” Lindsey, honorary son, Adam Lee Perkins, sister, Gail Tingle, and special granny, Shirley Plunkett.

Survivors include: wife of 28 years, Tina Tarrance, mother and father, Judy Canterbury, and Michael Canterbury all of Coushatta, son, Bubba Tarrance and wife Jana of Coushatta, daughter, Amber “Sissy” Tarrance and her puppy “Ziva”, of Coushatta, 3 grandchildren, Hadiley Tarrance, Blake Lewis, and Peyton Lewis, 3 brothers, Dogie Lindsey and wife Alexis of Shreveport, Jeffery Canterbury and wife Gen of Castor, LA, and Charlie Canterbury and wife Tenisha of Coushatta, LA, 3 sisters, Connie Bruce and husband David of Doyline, LA, Callie Canterbury of Coushatta, and Bessie Albright and husband Robert of Coushatta, LA., special friend and niece Carrie Kellogg, and special uncle and buddy, Thomas Lynn Lindsey.

Pallbearers are: Boo Boo Smith, Charlie Canterbury, Jr. Lindsey, Joseph Tingle, Michael Gill, and Eddie Lindsey.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Buck Dickson, Jimmy Ray Giddings, Shelby Gardner, Damon Gardner, Robert Vascocu, Robert Albright, Tony McCarthy, Randy Burge, and Scott Henry.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m Tuesday, at Abundant Life Worship Center—Coushatta, LA.
