Lillo, 65, of Calhoun, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 15, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Dwayne Monk officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschal’s Catholic Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.Mr. Lillo was born December 2, 1949 and passed away February 12, 2015. He attended New Hope Baptist Church in West Monroe, served in the U.S. Coast Guard, and retired after 35 years as a mill site supervisor at Graphic Packaging. Jerry was an avid duck hunter with the nickname “Trigger” and enjoyed fishing for bass, redfish, and trout all over Louisiana. Animals were attracted to Jerry and he always took them in and made sure they were cared for and loved. He served as an officer with Monroe Police Department and a deputy with Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office in his earlier years.Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cindy Lillo; mother, Mrs. Charlene (Doodle) Lillo; children, Jerri Michele Greer and husband Bruce, Jason Lillo and wife LeaAnn, Amy Johnson and husband David, Richie Sherrill and wife Daniele, and Joey Sherrill; grandchildren, Lynsey, Landon, Mallory, Caden, Lawson, Ellie, Gracie, Cooper, and Payton. Pallbearers will be Tadd Gates, Shane Pittard, Clay Smith, Shane Hattaway, Wayne Barnett, and David Walker.Honorary Pallbearers will be Walter Jackson, Don Harrison, Jerry Bailey, and Tommy Griggs. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
