Jerry L. Powdrill

Jerry Powdrill, 68, of West Monroe passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Glenwood Regional Medical center after a brief illness. He was born August 31, 1949 in Alexandria, Louisiana to the late Timothy Powdrill and Rose Wiggins Powdrill.
Jerry is survived by one niece: Brandi White and her husband Sam, and their three children Steven, Maria, and Faith. He is also survived by his many former and present colleagues in the Law Enforcement Community.
Jerry was a charter member of the River Fellowship Church in West Monroe. He was also a Master Mason and a member of the URIM Masonic Lodge.
Jerry was retired from the West Monroe Police Department where he served for 23 years. During his tenure with the police department he served in many capacities and divisions, retiring in 2002 with the rank of Major.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe, with Bro William Edward officiating.
