Jerry G. Holdiness

Graveside Services for Mr. Jerry G. Holdiness, 76, of Monroe, LA, will be 11:30 AM Monday, June 11, 2018, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, with Bro. Leo Coleman officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mr. Holdiness was born June 28, 1941 and passed away on June 9, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith, and retired insurance agent. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, drag boat racing, and being on the water. He was very active with the Krewe of Janis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Holdiness, Jr. and Mabel Jordon Holdiness; sister, Peggy Faye Carroll; and brother, Henry Holdiness.
Survivors include his two sons, Scott Holdiness (Anita) and Todd Holdiness (Gina); six grandchildren, Gregory Holdiness, Timothy Holdiness, Jaycob Holdiness, Dakota Holdiness, Victoria Holdiness, and Kholton Holdiness; brother, Harvey Holdiness, III. (Janice); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Francis Medical Center MICU department.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
