Jerry F. Oglesby

Funeral services celebrating the life of Jerry Frank Oglesby, 76, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday July 5, 2018 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Gene Benson officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery.
Mr. Oglesby died June 30, 2018 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA
Mr. Oglesby was a retired Radiology Technician, serving at Baylor Medical Center, Dallas, TX. St. Francis MC, North Monroe Hospitals, and Winn Parish MC. He was the President of the Louisiana Society of Radiology Technology
Jerry was a long time member of the Church of God of Cleveland, TN, and for the last several years he attended the Lapine Assembly of God in West Monroe. He was a devout Christian for most of his life, and he loved the Lord and loved singing in church. He loved gardening and raising flowers, which he excelled at. He was a wonderful husband and father. Mr. Oglesby worked over 45 years in the medical field. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors: his wife, Mrs. LaJuana Hendricks Oglesby; children, Kevin, Dawn, Shawn. grandchildren, Sylvia Cathey, Caleb Cathey; daughter in law- Carla, son in law,Clyde Fatheree

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time Thursday July 5, 2018 at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be; Donnie Mann, Donnie Burk, Vernon Wooden, Eddie Dulaney, Clyde Kelly and Rob Jaynes.
