Jerrene B. "Jerre" Hopfinger

Funeral Mass for Mrs. Jerrene B. “Jerre” Hopfinger, 81, Calhoun, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at St. Paschal’s Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA, with Fr. Frank Coens officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschal’s Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Hopfinger was born April 18, 1936 in Langdale, AL, and passed away January 18, 2018, at her residence in Calhoun, LA. She was a member of St. Paschal’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Thelma Boone; husband, James W. Hopfinger; brother, Daniel Boone; and grandson, Timmy Hayden.

Survivors include her children, Lydia Hopfinger, Daniel Hopfinger (Shona), and Butch Hopfinger; grandchildren, Heather Harris (Robbie), Heath Hopfinger (Laynie), Bobby Wayne Hayden (Sara), Jacob Hopfinger and John P. Hopfinger; great grandchildren, Thatcher and Beckett Hopfinger and Matthew Hayden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Heath Hopfinger, Bobby Wayne Hayden, Don Ballard, Raymond LeBrun, Dee Killian and Devon Knight.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 22, 2018, with a rosary at 6:30 P.M., at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
