Jenene Brown Mulhearn Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LAMemorial Services for Mrs. Jenene Brown, 78, of Farmerville, LA will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 19, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Dr. David Brown officiating. Mrs. Brown was born November 2, 1936 and passed away December 14, 2014. She was married for 59 1/2 years to Richard. Her family described her as a very devoted wife and mother. In her younger days, she loved ballet and was a very talented ballet dancer. While spending 20+ years in the workforce, she assumed various office roles from bookkeeper to secretary. Jenene was a great cook and loved the Cajun & Creole cuisine. Her hobbies included collecting antiques, reading and crossword puzzles. From time to time, Richards career would require the family to move and settle into a new area. With every move, Jenene was very adaptable to new opportunities and made each one a loving home.She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Clara Gibson; and three sisters, Margie Moore, Betty Sauls and Bobbie Cox.Survivors include her husband, Richard Brown; children, Anne Elizabeth Cloer and husband Jeff, William Keith Brown and wife Lois, Michael Lee Brown and wife Janet, and David Warren Brown and wife Melinda; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Gibson and Jerry Gibson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
