Memorial Services for Jeffrey Todd Stephens, 44, of Lincoln, Nebraska (formerly of West Monroe) will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday August 25, 2007 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Patrick Petrus officiating.
 
Jeff was born and raised in West Monroe and passed away at his residence in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 22, 2007.  Jeff was a veteran of the United States Army.  He was a graduate of Ecole Superieure De Cuisine Francaise-Ferrandi of Paris, France as an Executive Chef.  Jeff served as an Executive Chef at the Westin La Paloma Country Club of Tucson, Arizona, Marshall University, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  Jeff was an avid bass fisherman who appeared on ESPN’s Fishing University in 2005. Jeff is preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Sue Parker Stephens; grandparents, Otis and Rosa Capers Stephens and Noah and Velma Miles Parker.
Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Buchanan Stephens of Lincoln, NE; father and step-mother, Norman Ray and Lena Stephens of Oak Grove, LA; sister and family, Mickey, Guy, Michelle, and Stephen deLaup of Metairie, LA; brothers and families, Greg, Sonya, Jackie and Gregory Stephens of Richmond, VA, Keith, Tonya, Jessica, Zach and Lauren Stephens of West Monroe, LA; step sister, Valeria Simpson; step-brothers, John and Robert Becker; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until service time Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe, LA.
