Funeral Services for Jeffery Shane Hicks, Sr., 58, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 22, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Bishop Bennie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Friday.

Mr. Hicks was born December 13, 1965, in Monroe, LA, and passed away December 19, 2023, in West Monroe, LA.

Jeffery was the owner and operator of Outdoor Elements, LLC. He also had a deep passion for hunting and the great outdoors. He cherished every moment with his loved ones. Jeffery held a lifelong love for classic cars and found a thrill in drag racing and riding dirt bikes. He remained dedicated to his friends, faith, and family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Hicks; his mother-in-law, Patricia Bowser; and his father-in-law, C.D. Morris.

Jeffery is survived by his loving wife, Debra Lea Hicks; daughter, Mandy Bratton (Robert Bratton); daughter, Haylie Hodnett (Jason Hodnett); son, Jeffery Hicks, Jr.; mother, Shirley Almond; dad, Tommy Almond; sister, Tisha Crain (David); grandchildren, Josh and Hudsyn Jones, Gina, Josie, and Abram Self; and his best friend, Jimbo Martin.

Pallbearers will be Richard Morris, David Morris, Anthony Yruegas, Jr., Hunter Cherene, David Morris, Jr., Jacob Self, and Jimbo Martin.
