Jeanette Womack Ramsey

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette Womack Ramsey, 85, of Swartz, LA, will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Swartz in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ben Hackler officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Ramsey was born July 10, 1936, in Swartz, LA and passed away on June 22, 2022, in Monroe, LA. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Swartz and was a Sunday school teacher there for many years. Mrs. Ramsey loved to travel extensively with friends and family. She enjoyed playing (and winning) board and card games. She was a skilled bridge player in several groups with her bridge girlfriends.

Mrs. Ramsey is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Ramsey; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. WR Womack; and special friend and travel buddy, Erma Taylor.

Survivors include one daughter, Regina Janes and husband David; one son, Todd Ramsey and wife Dena; two granddaughters, Kristina Ramsey and Stormie Lee; as well as a host of loved nieces, nephews and special friends.
