Jean was born and raised in Monroe, LA. She graduated Neville high school, year unknown, but I'm sure we could figure it out. She loved telling stories of being a majorette. She went on to own several businesses before moving to Mississippi in ‘94. For the past 25 years, she has worked for Ford selling trucks to her beloved "horse people". We had the BEST time rodeoing!
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Callie Mae Bearden; her sister, Eva Gail Self; her son, Eric Thomas Hummel; and daughter, Sabella Channel Herrington.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Herrington; son, Johnny Hummel; daughters, Nataschia Michelle and Heidi Herrington. Also, her one and only grandchild, Eric Charles Dean, who was the light of her life. Countless nieces and nephews whom she loved so much. Also, her best friend, Charles Concelli.
Visitation is Thursday, November 30, 2017, 8:30 AM to 11:00AM, with service following at 11:00 AM, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Graveside will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
