Memorial services celebrating the life of Mrs. Jaunice Moore will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home, 1107 N Pine, Vivian La 71082. Mrs. Moore was born May 16, 1951 and passed away on February 27, 2021. Jan lived mostly in Vivian her whole life She attended several churches regularly over the years. Jan was strong in her Christian faith. She loved to garden and work in her yard. Jan enjoyed painting and anything crafty. Jan was a cosmetologist, a bookkeeper, and a homemaker. She always went out of her way to help others. She is preceded in death by father, Jesse Holsted; mother, Sarrah Holsted; and infant brother, Douglas Holsted. Survivors include son, John Smith of Atlanta TX; daughter, Kimberly Solida of Monroe, LA; son and daughter in law, James and Michelle Smith of Texarkana TX; four grandchildren, Gannon Smith, Ashleigh Solida. Cody Solida, and Rylen Smith; two great grandchildren, Senri Welch, and Keoni Stephens; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Buddy Hughes; sister, Beverly Clugston; and brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Sherie Holsted; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
