Funeral services for Jaunice C. Gorman, 74, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, Sep. 21, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bastrop, with President Ronald Uptigrove officiating. Interment will follow at Causey Cemetery, Beekman under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.Mrs. Gorman died Friday, Sep. 18. 2015 at West Monroe Guest House.Mrs. Gorman was preceded in death by her parents, George and Willie Coker; grandson, Cecil D. Gorman, Jr.; great granddaughter, Payton Gorman; siblings, A.D. Coker, Helen Leburn, Clifford Coker, T.J. Coker, Kenneth Coker and Ophelia Huston. Survivors include her husband, Cecil Gorman; children, Cheryl Rodgers and husband Don of Bastrop, Shane Gorman and fianc Courtney of Bastrop, and Cecil D. Gorman and wife Melinda of West Monroe; grandchildren, Tiffani Basinger, Cody Rodgers, Chandler Gorman, Dylan Gorman, Daniel Gorman, and Celina Gorman; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Vickie Crawford, Bessie Sadler, and Betty Conner.Pallbearers will be Chandler Gorman, Dylan Gorman, Eddie Basinger, Cody Rodgers, Allen Coker, and Daniel Gorman. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Salder and Scotty Salder.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, Sep. 20, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.Memorials may be made to The Heart Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
