William Jason was born August 11, 1976 and passed away March 28, 2021. He was the Chief Operations Officer for Storm Properties, LLC, and worked for Storm Construction, Inc, alongside his dad, Bill Storm, until Bill’s passing in 2005. Jason was a member of St Paschal Catholic Church, where he served on the Pastoral Council, lead the Middle School Youth Group, and ran the Coffee and Donuts Program for many years. Jason was also the Track operator for Twin City BMX in Monroe, LA.
He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Storm, Sr.; and his first wife, Heather Tyler Storm.
Survivors include his wife, Selah Shultz Storm; son, Trenton Tyler; daughter, Addison Grace; mother, Dorothy Wallace Storm; sisters, Ashley Storm Rogers, and Shelley Storm Yates and husband Doug; nephew, Tripp Rogers; and brother, Billy Storm. He also leaves behind many family and countless friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tinnerello, Dewey Burt, John DeSantis, Brian Harris, Kevin Roark, Brandon Wheelis, and Andy Storm.
Jason loved his children, Trenton Tyler and Addison Grace with everything he had. Whether he was fixing bikes for BMX and, or fixing buns for dance class, he wanted to be present and involved in their lives because he knew how quickly it would pass.
He was a gifted artist. He laid down his paint brushes some years ago and over the past year, rekindled a passion he almost forgot he had.
He was a father-figure to so many kids that didn’t have a father present and became a bright light in their lives, often teaching them valuable life lessons. He made sure you felt welcome at his home. If you needed him, he was the first to show up, and the last one to leave.
There was no doubt when you caught Jason looking at Selah, that there was nothing but love for her in his heart. He wanted to be a better man because of the love and kindness she shows others.
I am certain when Jason was greeted by his Dad in Heaven, they embraced and gave each other a giant smile. Although his absence is greatly felt, he is now at Peace.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Origin Bank, under the name Storm Family Love Fund.
