Memorial services for Mr. Jason Miles Russell, 51, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel., Monroe, LA, with Deacon Bill Goss officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. in Monroe, LA.
Jason Miles Russell was born November 8, 1970, in Monroe, LA and went to be with his Savior on February 7, 2022.
Jason graduated from Neville High School in 1989 and continued his studies at NLU. After college, Jason went to work at JP Morgan Chase where he was employed for 28 years. More than anything, Jason loved his family.
Jason was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, god father, and friend. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with. Jason had a love for sports; New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, LSU, and Neville. He was an avid card and sports memorabilia collector since an early age. Jason loved to travel anywhere anytime. He loved his trips with his wife, Donna, to Las Vegas, the beach, New Orleans, Chicago, and any card show that he could find. Jason had a passion for his family and was involved in every aspect of their life and will continue to watch over them from heaven.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Victor and Christina Zagone, and paternal grandfather, J.B. Taylor (Coot).
Jason is survived by his wife, Donna Cameron Russell; their fur baby, Tank; his parents; Gary and Mary Jo Wike; father, Rannie Russell; sisters, Wendy Jo Wike and Alicia R. Cresswell; grandmother, Lou Nel Taylor; sister-in-law, Diana (Dez); and in laws, Opal and Bruce Cameron; special nephew and niece, Aiden and Ava Jo who he loved dearly; special friends, Wes and Charlie Pippin; as well as all his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
