Jason Hugo Jones

Jason Hugo Jones (“Pesci”), 32, of Monroe, LA passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident earlier that day.Funeral arrangements are being handled by Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA. Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2014, beginning at 4:00 PM with a Vigil Wake at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM, in Mulhearn’s Chapel. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Tom Deal will officiate each of the services.Born in Monroe, Jason was a graduate of Neville High School and ULM. During his college days, he was greatly involved in his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha. To his friends, Jason was affectionately known as “Pesci”. He had a zest for life and embraced it to the fullest. He cherished his many friendships and was loved by many. Jason will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vera and Hugo Angelini.Survivors include his mother, Debbie Wilmore and husband Jeff; father, Jackie Jones and wife Jan; his sister, Valerie Jones Palmer, husband Charles and nephew, Jonah Palmer; his aunt, Lisa Angelini; uncle, Nicky Angelini, wife Ellen and nephew Michael Angelini; paternal grandparents, Jackie and Barbara Jones; uncles Kenneth Jones, Robert Jones and wife Regina and Eric Jones; and his fianc Christina Harvey and their dog, JoJo.Pallbearers will be Casey Osbon, Will Crow, Brad Jones, Stacy Lafoon, Chris Harvey, James Scalia, Simpson Sirikul and Clay Kays.
