Services for Janie Dee Bonner Guillory, 68 of Baton Rouge will be 12:00PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home-Winnsboro with Frances Guy officiating. Interment will follow in the Beouf Prairie Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Winnsboro.
Dee was born to the union of Mark H. Bonner, Jr. and Janie Coughran Bonner on April 16, 1948 in Winnsboro and passed from this life on November 23, 2016 in Baton Rouge.
She was a retired librarian and school teacher in East Baton Rouge school system, graduate of Southeastern, loved to read, eating out, visiting with her friends, and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her parents-Mark H. Bonner, Jr. and Janie Coughran Bonner; grandparents-Mark H. Bonner, Sr. and Emma Dee Johnson Bonner and Richard Coughran and Minnie Townsend Coughran of Winnsboro.
She is survived by a son Thad Guillory of Denham Springs; brother-Mark H. Bonner and wife Carleen of St. Francisville; mother-in-law-Irene Guillory of Opelousas; and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be K. P. Bonner, Peyton Bonner, J. W. Dean, Joe Dean, James Wiltshire, and Clark Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Harrison Gill and William Mangold.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at the funeral home.
