Janice Elizabeth Sellers McVay

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Janice Elizabeth Sellers McVay, 83, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 29, 2019, at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. McVay was born on March 6, 1936 and passed away on December 25, 2019. She loved China Painting, cooking, sewing, and making a home for her family. She was a military wife for over 20 years.

Mrs. McVay is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, G.W. McVay; her grandson, Matthew Clayton Lord; and her brother, Billy Sellers.

Survivors include her children, David McVay and wife, Sigrid, Lisa Lord and husband, Clay, Lea Ann Avery and husband, Jack, Marc McVay and wife, Wendi, and Tami Morris and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Sarah Hyatt, Leslie Newbold, Drew Avery, Austin and Landon Morris, and Christian and Anna Grace McVay; great grandchildren, Noah, Eli, and Evie Lord, Claire, Isabella, Naomi and Amelia Hyatt, and Shelby Jaine Newbold; and sister, Peggy Chapman and husband Buck.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
