Paul Thunduparampil officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.
Janet was born on November 10, 1947 and went to her eternal home on August 10, 2021. She was a faithful devout Catholic Servant. She loved the Lord and enjoyed her church activities, although she struggled with many health issues throughout her entire life. Janet was a tough woman and was always ready to socialize. If someone said “lets go”, she would say “OK” and not even ask where! She loved crocheting, shopping, playing bingo, gardening, going to the casino, and of course going out to eat. Like her dad, she loved all animals, especially her dogs. They were her babies and she treated them as such. Her heart was as big as they come. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Leota McCormick; brothers, Thomas, Lawrence, and David.
Survivors include her sisters, Pam Raborn, Ruth Simmons and husband, Mike, and Julie Hamilton and husband, Ken; along with a multitude of nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews. Janet also leaves behind her faithful canine companions, Roxie and LilAnn.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Starnes, Hunter Starnes, Tyler Lingefelt, Bryan Lingefelt, Billy Huckabay, and Pat McCormick.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. until service time on Sunday.
