Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Eileen King of Monroe will be 11:00am Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro with Rev. Daniel Minchew officiating. Interment will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. King was born January 12, 1954 in Winnsboro, LA and passed from this life on September 6, 2020 in Monroe, LA at the age of 66.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley King, Jr.; her parents, Fred H. Wright and Ella Mae Wright; her brothers, Fred Wright, Jr., and Dewitt Wright; and her sisters, Barbara Webster, Marie Hudson, and Audrey Katherine Hemphill.
Survivors include her children, Nicki Goodman of Monroe and Thomas F. King and fiancé April D. Smith of Dubach; her siblings, Carolyn Arnold of Dubach, Stanley Wright and wife, Dorothy of Monroe, Deborah Batson of Hodge, Irene Rebscher and husband, Michael of Jonesboro, and Ella Mizell and husband, Larry of St. Joseph; her grandchildren, John Derrick Goodman and fiancee Bethany of Monroe, and Rachel MaKayla Rockwell and husband, Dustin of Shreveport; her great-grandchildren, Kasen Goodman, Keegan Goodman, Audrie Goodman, Serina Charrier, Aidrian Charrier, Karma Charrier, and Darcy Charrier; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chad Merritt, Dustin Rockwell, Norman Katicich, Adam Hemphill, and Jamie Hankins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Mulhearn Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
