Funeral services for Janet Sharp, 74, of Monroe formerly of Dodson, LA, will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 9, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Trent Langhoffer officiating. Graveside service will be at 3:30 PM Monday at Transport Cemetery in Dodson, LA. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sharp was born September 1, 1943, in Winnfield, LA, and passed away Friday, April 6, 2018, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Steve Sharp, Sr.; son, Steve Sharp, Jr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stewart; three sisters, Novys Archer, Bennie Price, and Jackie Vines.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Sharp Murray and adopted son, Kasey Conley, both of Monroe; grandsons, Jackson Murray and Christian Conley; three nephews, Steve Vines, Davy Vines, and Mike Price.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ramsey, Matthew Thornton, Greg Guthrie, Kyle Roberts, John Sowders, and Andrew Dodson.
