Jamie McTurner Blunschi Freeman, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Roman Catholic Church, rested in the arms of Christ on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, surrounded in loving peace by her family. She was born November 15, 1975, in Monroe, Louisiana. Jamie graduated from Neville High School in 1992. Jamie worked as a dental hygienist for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jamie was a loving mother, daughter, sister and wife. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John R. McTurner and aunt, Susan McTurner. Jamie Leigh is survived by her children, John Bennett Blunschi, Bailee Anne Blunschi, Lauren Bene’ Bratton, and Hannah Freeman; her husband, James Matthew Freeman; parents, Mike and Donna McTurner and Kim Mathieu McTurner; brothers, Mathieu McTurner and wife Ashley, and Josh Blackwelder; and was lovingly known to her nephew and niece, River and Allie Rain McTurner as “Aunt J J”; grandparents, Helen McTurner and Bill and Bobbie Mathieu; aunts and uncles, Kelly and Johnny Bailey, Rhett and Tina Mathieu and Rex Mathieu.Pallbearers will be Lance Fudickar, Casey Osbon, Will Crow, Josh Blackwelder, Rhett Mathieu, and Stacy Laffoon.Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
