Funeral Services for Mr. Jamie Glenn Sims, 42, of Calhoun, LA will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Lonnie Woodard officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.Jamie was born on May 21, 1973 and passed away on March 1, 2016. He loved music, movies, and playing video games. Jamie is preceded in death by his father, Obie Glenn Sims; and by his grandparents, Obie Credell Sims and Rebecca Lee Hearn Sims.Survivors include his mother, Lillian K. Sims; his 13 year old daughter, Lillian J. Sims; step-son, Wesley Brooks; along with numerous other relatives, cousins, and friends.Pallbearers will be Obie C. Sims, Obie D. Sims, Andrew Sims, Dean Olden, Tim Thompson and Dean Head. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
