Funeral services for Mr. James Wright Jeselink, 82, of Winnsboro, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Lone Cedar Baptist Church in Winnsboro, LA, with Rev. Johnny Magnuson officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Cedar Cemetery in Winnsboro, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
Mr. James Wright Jeselink was born to the late Joseph Sheppard and Ludie Bertie Finklea Jeselink from Rayville, LA on July 25th, 1939, in Madden, Mississippi and passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
Mr. Jeselink was in every sense of the word a “jack of all trades.” He owned a service station in his early years, owned several semi-trucks, but settled to be a successful electrician owning a business, Jim’s Heating and Air in Winnsboro, LA. He was also a very talented singer and musician. Mr. Jeselink was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Jeselink was the spouse of the late Glenda Maxine Parker Jeselink.
He leaves behind 3 sons, James Marty Jeselink of Farmerville, LA, Lt. Col, US Army Retired, Christopher Dane Jeselink of Clinton, MS, and Paul Anthony Jeselink of Winnsboro, LA; and one daughter, Stephanie Kay Jeselink Mock, of Monroe, LA; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter, Hollyn Brooke Moore, which he recently saw for the first and only time.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Ryan King, Brady Shane Mock, Jacob Paul Jeselink, Richard Daren Kelly, and Dewey Zane Rodgers.
