Memorial Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. James Willard “Jamie” Southern, Jr, 49, of Rayville, LA, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Dunn Baptist Church in Delhi, LA with Rev. Kenney Johnston officiating.
Jamie was born January 28, 1972 in Delhi, LA to James and Joy Southern. Jamie left this world on December 7, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Joy. Jamie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling while truck driving. He was currently driving for Walker Spreading Services.
Survivors include his wife, Lica Ann Southern; two sons, Clayton Southern and TJ Southern; brother, Thomas Southern and partner Nathaniel Green; three sisters, Donna Johnston and her husband Rickey, Thereasa Southern, and Tonya Nelson and husband Danny; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends, especially his best friends, David Walker, Rickey Brown, Jr., and longtime friends, Charles Hales, and Starley Faye Sheffield.
Jamie was a good-hearted person and we will miss him dearly.
