Graveside services for James Wilburn Logan, Sr., 92 of Archibald will be at 2:00PM Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Lynn Cemetery with Rev. John Albright officiating. Burial will be in the Lynn Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.James Wilburn Logan, Sr., a retired banker and long-time resident of Archibald, Louisiana, died in Rayville, Louisiana on February 21, 2016, after a long illness. Mr. Logan was born on October 14, 1923, and had lived most of his life in Archibald.Mr. Logan served in the U.S. Navy as an aviator in the South Pacific during World War II. He was active during his life in various businesses in Richland, Franklin, and Ouachita parishes, and retired from business as a member of the board of directors of Richland State Bank. He was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church in Baskin.He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years-Evelyn Riscky Logan; parents-Tollie and Josie Logan, and his sister-Myrtice Tharp.He is survived by his son-James W.
