Services for James Washington Taylor, 75 of Jigger will be at 1:00PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Jigger Apostolic Church with Bro. Hurby Hitt and Bro. Bobby Ensminger officiating. Burial will follow in the Jigger Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Winnsboro.
Mr. Taylor was born on February 28, 1942 in Liddieville and passed from this life on November 23, 2017 at his residence.
He loved God and his church family, loved his family dearly, loved meeting and making new friends, a people person, loved to fish and hunt, and loved being around campfires.
He is preceded in death by his parents-B. G. (Brack) Taylor and Lona Crain Taylor; three sisters-Edna Johnson, Rethie Womack, and Lena Taylor; and one brother-Melvin Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years-Joyce Taylor of Fort Necessity; children-Donna Ezell of Liddieville, Sonja Hawthorne and husband Ivan of Liddieville, Cherri Taylor of Calhoun, and Glen Womack and wife Judy of Harrisonburg; 11 grandchildren-James Womack, Chase Womack, Paige Womack Barbo, Brandon Ezell, Nicole Taylor, Adam Hawthorne, Ryan Hawthorne, Thomas Jemerson, Jamie Jemerson, Lance Jemerson, and Layne Jemerson; a brother-Barney Taylor and wife Cecil of Fort Necessity; a sister-Verdie Beach of West Monroe; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Lance Jemerson, Layne Jemerson, Jamie Jemerson, Thomas Jemerson, and Ryan Hawthorne, Adam Hawthorne, Brandon Ezell, James Taylor, James Womack, and Chase Womack.
Visitation will be 5:00PM until 9:00PM Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Jigger Apostolic Church in Jigger.
